How robotic process and intelligent automation are remaking federal agencies

Past Event

Federal agencies are adopting new processes designed to make them more efficient and effective: robotic process automation and intelligent or cognitive automation. Each is being deployed and starting to alter how agencies function.

On November 16, the Center for Technology Innovation at Brookings hosted an expert discussion on how robotic process and intelligent automation are remaking federal agencies. Panelists discussed how these tools are being used, what the opportunities and risks are, and how to ensure the federal government workforce utilizes these new technologies in a responsible manner.

Viewers submitted questions for speakers by emailing events@brookings.edu or via Twitter at @BrookingsGov by using #AIGovernance.
