At Brookings, we believe that high-quality, independent research is critical to addressing the pressing public policy challenges of a complex, dynamic and, at times, dangerous world. Each year, Brookings produces an annual report highlighting our collective work and the impact it has had on the world.

The annual report has, since 1983, also provided an opportunity for us to thank the generous donors whose financial support makes our work possible, while also demonstrating our commitment to transparency. We are fortunate to enjoy support from a broad range of philanthropic individuals, corporations, governments and foundations that believe in our mission of authoritative, independent, and nonpartisan research.
